The deck load capacity is 14,000 lbs. distributed. The crossmembers are 3 x 2 corten steel alloy tubes spaced on 8 inch centers as standard equipment. The floor plate is available in 3/16 inch smooth or deck plate. The bed slide rails are 7 x 3-1/2 x 1/4 Grade 50 roll-formed channels. The body is equipped with two front chain trays, two attached front. safety chains, two front chain locks and 4 rear chain locks in the approach plate. Additional chain locks or welded recessed lashing rings are also available in customer specified locations for an additional charge. Raised enclosed sides are standard equipment and extend 6 inches above the floor. Optional floor level sides with stake pockets, removable steel open rail sides,removable aluminum blade rails, welded steel open rail
sides and trailer style rub rails are also available. The standard nominal body width is 98 inches, and it is also
available 102 inches wide. For optional floor level sides with stake pockets, removable steel open rail sides
and removable aluminum blade rail sides, the body sides are manufactured with grade 50 roll-formed sides.Subframe,The subframe rails are 6 x 3 x 1/4 inch structural tubes reinforced with 5 x 2 x 1/4 inch structural tubes.Combined RBM is 810,000 in. • lbs. The dual tilt cylinders are 3 inch bore, 1-1/2 inch chrome rod. The
subframe is manufactured to use either inboard mounted tilt cylinders or outboard mounted tilt cylinders. The chassis design configuration determines which style subframe should be used. The slide back cylinder is 3-1/2 inch bore, 1-3/4 inch chrome rod with a 117 inch stroke. A full length tail light housing completely encloses all wiring to prevent electrical corrosion and damage. The tail light housing is aluminum and contains shock mounted lights to withstand abusive loading and towing operations. Rear safety chain boxes are located under the tail light housing with attached safety chains. Both driver and passenger side control boxes
are aluminum for corrosion resistance and weight reduction. Both control boxes are illuminated with a control function placard at each location.
Body Lock Hold Down System. The body lock provides a secondary means of hold down and prevents the body from vibrating and rattling
beyond the front of the subframe. The body lock consists of nylatron roller bearings to prevent friction against
the body sills so that there are not parts to service or replace. A mechanical anti-tilt device prevents the bed
from being tilted while in the body locks and prevents the bed from being lowered onto the body locks.
